Questions

Can I use Ruffle3D at work or for client projects?

Yes. Commercial use is allowed, with no seat limit and no licence to buy.

Is there a time limit or a trial?

No. Ruffle3D doesn't expire, and there's nothing to activate.

Will it stay free?

Yes. Ruffle3D is open source under the GNU GPL v3, so the code is public and stays free to use, change and share. The version you download is yours to keep using, offline, for as long as you like.

Is the source code available?

Yes, on GitHub, under the GNU GPL v3 or later. You can build it yourself, change it, and contribute improvements: see the contributing guide.

How is it funded?

By people who find it useful. If Ruffle3D saves you time or money, you can donate in Bitcoin or Ethereum. It's entirely voluntary, and every feature stays free either way.

Are there ads or tracking?

No. The application doesn't show ads and doesn't send your data anywhere. See the privacy policy.

How do I get help?

Start with the documentation and the support page. You can also open an issue or ask in GitHub Discussions.

Can my school or company deploy it?

Yes. The download runs without administrator rights and without an internet connection. See education for classrooms and labs.
